Belt Test 1/31/09

Mr. Mike tested some of his class for belt advancement on Saturday and then we had a fun potluck to celebrate the new belt colors. Food was definitely welcome after the 2 and 1/2 hour test. You can see Logan better in this first picture--Jonah is to his far left. They were nervous, but in the end they did a great job. They both broke their first boards--wow the snap they made! They each wrote their name and date down on their boards for this first monumental achievement :)

Both boys received their green belts from Mr. Mike and then were able to break a "practice" board for fun and then Mr. Mike threw them over his shoulder and onto a mat to signify the achievement.
