FOOTBALL

I really didn't ever think that I would be posting a picture of Logan and Jonah in football gear.
Until August neither one show much interest in the sport aside from watching an occasional Packer or Badger game (okay really only part of the game). When swim team ended and sign-ups for fall sports began they both decided upon football. I asked..."Are you sure??? Once you sign-up you must see the season through." Yup...it's football. I must admit when they came home the with all the gear and tried it on I did think it was cute(I know it isn't suppose to be cute, but that is how mom's think).
What I didn't think was cute was the first time I witnessed Jonah knocked air born and thrown to the ground like a rag doll. I couldn't watch anymore of the practice so I went home and waited for Jonah to arrive in tears. Meanwhile,I planned how I was going to encourage him to stick it out for the rest of the season. Wasn't I surprised when Jonah came home with a great big grin on his face. I thought to myself... well, maybe we'll make it though footballs season after all.
We have gone thru a few tears, but I am pleased at how hardworking and resilient the boys are becoming. I never thought I would say this but, yeah football.
