Friday Freewrites, Boys and Violence to PBS Charaters

This is a Freewrite that Logan wrote this morning in responce the "starter" I wish I had enough money to.....


I wish I had enough money to shoot Barney with a 22,
O that would be the day.
Hit super Y in the eye and fill him with dismay.
Hit Sid the Science Kid with a broken pot lid
so that the welt on his head would not be hid from View!
O if only I had enough money.

Spring

I love this time of year. It is hard for me to stay focused on getting school done though. When the weather starts getting nice(especially after the LONG winters the last two years) it's hard to stay inside. I love seeing the grass change from brown to green and the spring flowers burst through the earth. Yesterday each of the boys at one time or another brought me flowers. It's so sweet.
I think we are going to change up our school routine a little so that we can enjoy the outdoors more. Instead of our history/culture focus, I'm going to have them start working more on science experiments that we can do outside. It will be a nice change of pace that will hopefully keep us from loosing all our momentum.

I've neglected my blog, again. My biggest excuse this time---FACEBOOK.
I could rationalize that I'm just trying to figure the whole facebook thing out, but that wouldn't exactly be true. So now I just need to strike a balance. A little facebook, a little blogging, and okay--a little housework :)
