Tuesday Tea Time

It had been many months since we sat down to a "formal" tea time. I give Brave Writer the credit for yesterdays inspiration and it was exactly what we needed. We are all going a little stir crazy with the cold and snow this winter. It is beginning to feel like Spring will never arrive.

So yesterday I baked a special coffee cake, put out a special (never used wedding present)table cloth, and we had tea. The older boys picked out a poem, as did I, and we read our favorite pick.

We need to make this a weekly tradition or at least not let months go by with out tea time.
